Class Announcements for Week 23 - Week of March 23rd, 2025
March 29, 2025 – DANCERO: 60th Diamond Anniversary - Dance Only Tickets still available
Join us in celebrating 60 incredible years of the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club at Dancero, our final and most spectacular event of the dance year! Held at TCU Place, this formal dinner dance will feature a night of social dancing, and special performances by individual members, the Instructor Group, and the Member Dance Team.
Tickets & Registration: Dance-only tickets are $40 in advance or available at the door for $50 (non-members), $45 (members), and $40 (students).
Doors open at 5:00 PM, with dinner served at 6:00 PM. The dance begins at 7:30 PM, performances take place at 9:30 PM, (previously 8:30 PM)and the night concludes at midnight. Formal attire is encouraged but not required—come dressed to celebrate in style!
The big day is approaching soon so don’t wait!

Call for Volunteers – Dancero: 60th Anniversary Celebration!
We are looking for volunteers to help make Dancero on March 29, 2025, a spectacular success! Roles include Greeters, Seaters, and assistance with decorating and take down. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to this special event while still enjoying the evening!

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM. (Previously 6:00 PM) This will be a virtual meeting, and all current members are welcome to attend. Stay tuned for more details on how to register—information will be sent out soon!
UofS BDC Summer Dance Practice Sessions
Location: Lakeview Church Lobby, 19 Glazier Rd, Saskatoon, SK
Dates: Every Tuesday, starting on April 15th – August 26th, 2025
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Cost – $5.00 per person
Due to the popularity of last year’s summer practice sessions, we’re excited to bring them back!
Keep your dancing sharp this summer with Tuesday evening practice sessions, running April through August 2025 at Lakeview Church Lobby.
Led by Gee Tran and Tanya Dauvin, both instructors with the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club, these sessions offer a great opportunity to refine your skills, practice what you’ve learned in class, and enjoy dancing in a relaxed and supportive environment.
No need to register—just drop in when you can! We look forward to dancing with you all summer long!
