Mistletoes Dinner Dance Registration Now Open

Venue: TCU Place
Finish the first dance term in style with our winter formal, the Mistletoes Dinner Dance! Expect a beautiful evening with a festive dinner, social dancing, and special performances by our talented members on the dance team and our instructors. Whether you’re joining us for dinner or just the dance, there’s a way for everyone to enjoy the night.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., dinner is served at 6:00 p.m., and the dance is from 7:30 p.m. until midnight. Bring your member number to the dance as it is the easiest method of checking in.
Dinner/Dance Tickets are $60 for members ($70 for non-members). They are now available to be purchased online at https://uofsbdc.com/dance/2. Please be advised that dinner tickets are not available for purchase at the door and must be secured in advance. The deadline for purchasing Dance and Dinner Tickets is November 23rd at midnight.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please indicate them during the registration process, as we are committed to accommodating your needs. Additionally, you will have the option to select your preferred class table by choosing from a drop-down menu.
Dance only option is available for a cost of $30.00 for both members and non-members; this option can be selected when adding a person to the registration list. You can also purchase “dance only” tickets at the doors.

Monthly Dance - November 16th, 2024 at Trinity
We're excited to announce our next monthly dance on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Trinity Orthodox Church Hall.
The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. You can easily pay at the door using a credit card, debit card, or cash. Don’t forget to bring your member numbers and wear clean, non-marking shoes.

General Meeting - December 4th. 2024
Our General Meeting will be held on Wednesday December 4th at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held via Zoom, so all can attend from the comfort of their home.
At this meeting we will provide an update on the state of the club as well as be holding elections for Executive positions. While all positions are up for election, we will have a special need to fill the following positions.
- Social Coordinator
- General Member at Large
We will be asking members to register ahead of the Meeting. As the meeting date gets closer, information on how to register will be made available!
If a member wishes for a bylaw to be altered or changed, section XII of bylaws that applies that written notice of change needs to be made no more than 50 days in advance of GM or AGM, and no less than 15 days notice.

Beginner Half-Class - Term 2
As many of you are aware, dancing is the most fun with friends and family! If you have been enjoying our classes, now you have a chance to pass on some of that joy! We are pleased to announce that Beginner Class #14 has been added for the 2024-25 season.
So if you are looking to get some extra class time or you know someone who is interested in dance lessons that missed out on the fall registration, this could be what you are looking for!
This is a half class running for term two only. The class will be held on Monday nights from the week of January 5th, 2025 to March 29, 2025.
The class is sure to fill up fast so watch for registration opening up on December 1st, 2024! Be sure to pass it on to your friends, family and anyone who loves to dance!
Important Dates - End of Term 1/ Beginning of Term 2
If you are new to the club or just need a reminder, the end of the first term is marked by the Mistletoes Dance, which is November 30th, 2024. We will then have our holiday break, where there will not be any classes or practices running during that time. Classes will resume the week of Jan 5th and run until March 29th. If you are registered in a class, you are already registered for the second term so you don’t have to worry about that!
