Workshops

The University of Saskatchewan Ballroom Dancing Club offers various workshops to our members throughout the year. Open to all members of the club only, they are typically one-day events where dancers are exposed to material and dances that are not a part of the normal curriculum. Past workshops have been, for example, on Hustle, Night Club Two Step, West Coast Swing, Waltz.

 

Term Workshops

Term workshops offer members an opportunity to learn patterns that are not in the clubs curriculum; the dances taught are part of the curriculum.

2024-25 Term One: 

Workshop at Trinity Orthodox Hall Saturday October 19th, 2024. Dance style: Waltz.

$10 per session, at the door, payable by credit, debit or cash. Doors open at 10:00 am.

  • 10:30 am - 12:00 pm : Level 1
  • 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Level 2
  • 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm : Level 3

2024-25 Term Two: 

Workshop at Trinity Orthodox Hall Saturday March 1st, 2025. Dance style: TBD.

$10 per session, at the door, payable by credit, debit or cash. Doors open at 10:00 am.

  • 10:30 am - 12:00 pm : Level 1
  • 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Level 2
  • 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm : Level 3

Specialty Workshops

Specialty workshops offer members an opportunity to learn patterns and dances that are not in the clubs curriculum.
