Volunteer Lead/Follow

Our club is always looking for leads and follows to help balance out role ratios in our classes. If you have been with the club for at least one year and are interested in volunteering in a class as a lead or follow, please indicate on the mailing list when you sign up.

The Lead/Follow program has a few rules around its management. Please review all of the following.

• Members that have paid for a class will always get priority to dance in that class. A volunteer Lead/Follow will only be able to dance at a class they volunteer in if the balance is skewed out of favor for their role.
• Volunteers will be assigned classes to volunteer in based on their availability schedule and requests made from instructors.
• We generally ask that volunteers attend class levels that are lower than the one they are currently registered in. This is to benefit the instruction of paid members in classes that need balancing.
